Electric Circuits KitBook Reviews

Parents and teachers weigh in on the benefits of the KitBook

The Electric Circuits KitBook, a new advance in hands-on science teaching/learning, went on the market in November 2007. Since then, numerous reviewers have used it, or observed their children and/or students using it, to learn the basics of electric circuits. Some have posted their comments about the KitBook on-line. We thought we'd make it easy on you by gathering the on-line links here in one place. Enjoy!

The Curriculum Choice
"My children learned A LOT from this KitBook!  Even more importantly, though, my children had fun.  They loved every minute of their time spent completing the lessons and still ask to “play” with it." -- Cindy West

Homeschool Examiner
"The KitBook's great plus is that the wires, clips and switches that come with the kit are all clearly visible (Snap Circuits embeds all wires and clips in plastic, so kids are really just moving plastic oblongs around a board).  Working with real wires, batteries and switches is a little tougher for small hands, but the experience is, in my opinion, much more educational." -- Lisa Jo Rudy, twitter @lisajorudy

Mom Reviews
"KitBooks are terrific for teachers to use in classrooms and for homeschooling parents as well. Kids can use them as part of lessons or just for fun. They include everything needed including batteries and are safety tested.  There are other “toy” science kits available, but this is the real deal based on my experience with other types of home kits." -- Elizabeth Edwards, twitter @Table4Five
